Take a Sneak Peek at Cynthia Nixon's Bald and Beautiful Transformation for Wit

Tony and Emmy winner Cynthia Nixon has a stark new look in this promortional photo by Jason Bell for the upcoming Manhattan Theatre Club production of Wit. As cancer stricken poetry professor Vivian Bearing, Nixon follows in the footsteps of Kathleen Chalfant, who originated the role off-Broadway in Margaret Edson’s Pulitzer Prize-winning 1998 play. Directed by Lynne Meadow, the new production also features Pun Bandhu, Suzanne Bertish, Michael Countryman, Jessica Dickey, Chiké Johnson, Greg Keller, Carra Patterson and Zachary Spicer. Wit is set to begin previews on January 5, 2012 and open on January 26 at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre.
